... Jayhawk Chalk Talk

Moral of this video - If at first you cannot scare her, try again because the second time can be a charm. Carly Iverson knew it was coming, but she definitely did not expect the second scare.

Alright Jayhawks and Jayhawk fans….We hope that you enjoyed the two videos we posted today. We will post the final video next week. Can you guess who the target was?

What’s more fun than a single scare? A double scare!
Did you see the second scare coming? Yea, neither did we.

The past few week must have been tough on you as you patiently waited for the next videos to be posted. Hopefully this video of Maddie Irelan’s double scare made up for the wait.

Over spring training, members of the rowing team carefully planned a series of scare video pranks. They are all hilarious!

The first target In the video you just saw is Abbey Lozenski, current SAAC President…Thank you for all your hardwork this year Abbey!

Liz Scherer innocently entered the room while talking to her mom on the phone. Her teammates felt no mercy and carried on their plan to scare her.

We will post three more videos next week. Stay tuned! Since laughter is the best medicine, be sure to share these videos and make someone else laugh.

Have a great weekend!

What I like about SAAC…

I like the interaction and involvement between the other teams.

SAAC is a once in a lifetime opportunity to impact our community with passionate, driven people while creating a better student-athlete experience for all.

I like the way we bounce ideas off each other and have representation from all teams. It is very constructive and effective.

SAAC is a wonderful experience filled with amazing people and intriguing ideas.

I like SAAC because it gives me a chance to give back to the community and get involved with people that I would not normally be involved with.

SAAC gives us a chance to have a voice.

I enjoy being out in the community and doing different things to represent KU and also being able to help in anyway. Additionally, I enjoy seeing different student-athletes giving up their time to help all student-athletes as a whole. It’s a great opportunity!

I like SAAC because it combines lots of fun and creative activities and helps me to express my ideas to other members.

I like that student-athletes have the opportunity to participate in many of the decisions regarding athletic activities.

SAAC provides a great network to connect with other athletes and an avenue to reach out to the community as well.

I like SAAC because it gives student-athletes a chance to show people in the community a side of us they don’t normally see.

I like that we have a voice in the athletic department that is heard, as well as many great opportunities to give back to the community.

I like that there are many different people with different thoughts and ideas.

I love how we are able to schedule and plan events to go out and help the Lawrence community.

I love that we are a group that supports unity and school spirit, and our voices are taken into consideration.

SAAC is an opportunity to take on an enjoyable responsibility to the school and the community. I like how SAAC allows any student-athlete to contribute their opinions or activities toward important issues in athletics and philanthropic events.
